- Larimer County Small Business Development Center - Provides high-quality, cost-effective small business assistance, information and support, which fosters the successful growth and development of small businesses and results in a positive long-term economic impact on our communities. Their mission is accomplished through:
- One-on-one counseling to start-up and existing businesses
- Training and workshops on business-related topics
- Help in obtaining financing from public and private sources
- Referrals to resources that provide appropriate business assistance
- Northern Colorado Economic Development Corporation - Funded by investments from regional businesses and government entities, the focus of the NCEDC is to leverage public and private funds to strengthen existing employers, support expansion projects, provide critical research for decision-making, and recruit new employers who create primary jobs, invest capital, and add vitality to the economy.
- Colorado Association of Manufacturing Technology - CAMT is a statewide manufacturing assistance center, partially funded by the NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership and hosted by the University of Colorado. CAMT encourages the global competitiveness of Colorado manufacturers through on-site technical assistance and support, collaboration-focused industry programs, and leveraging government, university and economic development partnerships.
Community-Specific Organizations
Estes Park
- Estes Park Conference Center - Utilizing the latest concepts in conference facility design, and state-of-the-art audio/visual support systems, the Center can provide a flexibility of use to accommodate your specific needs. The Center's 8,000 square foot ballroom divides into six independent, distraction-free meeting areas and can accommodate groups as large as 1,000 people with ease. Five additional breakout rooms of varying sizes are also available.
- Estes Park Convention and Visitors Bureau - Oversees business and economic development opportunities.
- Estes Park Urban Renewal Authority - Helps to plan and implement physical improvements aimed at enhancing the Estes Park economy and community improvement.
Fort Collins
- Downtown Business Association - Organized to promote the businesses of downtown Fort Collins, the DBA gives businesses the chance to highlight their offerings through many downtown promotions scheduled throughout the year.
- Downtown Development Authority - Provides financial incentives to encourage development and re-development in downtown Fort Collins. Ideas for DDA projects come from the organization, the private sector and the community at large. It serves as the primary planning and development advisor for downtown Fort Collins.
- Fort Collins Convention and Visitors Bureau - Accommodations and attractions, meeting and visitor services, restaurants and recreation are but a few of the categories covered on this fun site.
Loveland
- City of Loveland, Economic Development Division - The Division works with existing employers and provides assistance to potential new businesses looking to relocate to the community. Services include, but are not limited to: detailed community information, support throughout the development review process, community tours, appropriate site and building identification, special programs, incentive assistance, and workforce development.
- Loveland Urban Renewal Authority - The Authority fosters public-private partnerships and joint-venture developments. LURA has a unique array of revitalization tools at its disposal and works in collaboration with elected officials, city administrators, private developers and financing sources, as well as the community.
- The City of Loveland's Division of Community and Strategic Planning, the Loveland Chamber of Commerce, and the Center for Business Development have collaborated to create an Economic Gardening Program. The program provides strategic planning and data resources to assist the growth of new and existing small businesses.
