Permit Requirements

  1. Complete the structural application. Submit 2 (two) sets of construction plans and 4 (four) plot plans.
  2. Plot plans are to indicate location of proposed patio cover, all existing structures, and setbacks to property lines from the proposed structure. Complete requirements for submitting plot plans.
  3. Construction plans to include connection details and pier details. If the concrete pad does not exist and a deck is being installed, refer to the Larimer County deck specifications.
  4. All structural lumber to be graded lumber.
  5. Provide metal framing anchors and clips.
  6. All hangers and connectors to be attached with approved nails or screws.
  7. All beam splices to occur over support columns.
