2005 Citizen Survey Results

As part of a commitment to the budget process, the Board of Larimer County Commissioners periodically surveys citizens to find out what you think about county services. Previous surveys toward this commitment were conducted in 2002 and 2004. The results are a tool the Commissioners use when setting budget direction. This year we used an independent researcher that specializes in government entities such as other counties and also cities. We did this to get baseline results as to how we compared to other counties. This mail-in survey was completed by 1,249 citizens, a response rate of 44%, with a margin of error of +/- 3%.

In addition to questions about services, we asked citizens several questions about criminal justice and several demographic questions.

If you have any questions or comments about the survey, feel free to contact us.
