Larimer County Videos Garner Several Awards

Through an intergovernmental agreement, Larimer County often works with staff from the City of Fort Collins Cable Channel 27 department to produce county videos. The videos are aired on Fort Collins cable channel 27, Loveland & Berthoud cable channels 16, and north county cable channel 45. The videos are also available for viewing online. Awards for county videos in 2001 include:

Hometown Video Festival - longest running national awards competition for local cable

  • Talking Trash - County Natural Resources Department - a winner in Government Profile category
  • A Community Investment - County Budget Manager's Office - Honorable Mention/Government Profile category

NATOA Awards - (National Association of Telecommunication Officers & Advisors)

  • Talking Trash - County Natural Resources Department - 1st place - Public Education Under $400K
  • Keeping You Healthy - County Department of Health & Environment - 1st place - Public Health under $400K
